To say I was disappointed is an under statement, I don't like being lied to. The title projects this is an advanced trading tools book, but in fact it is just your basic intro to trading book with the standard fair of trade journal, limit emotions type of information.The one chapter (out of 20) on trading the trader is light and the following chapters do not touch on it again and in fact the examples of his trades in those chapters sometimes go against the idea of trading the trader.As for the writing I have seen better, IMHO he tends to ramble and is a little disorganized.If you have read any trading books there is no reason to buy this book, if you haven't there are many better ones.
This book is good for anyone starting out as a trader as it provides the basic set of tools for the beginner. The author provides the key items needed to succeed as a trader - create a trading plan, manage your risk, understand when to take profits and cut losses, etc. This is an very good book for the new trader, although I would have liked to see more in-depth discussion of patterns and technical analysis. The only real pattern discussions are cup and handle and trendiness...while that may work for the author, there are many more patterns and TA 'fundamentals' that could have been provided...and they would have made this book an excellent book for those starting out.That said...this book is not worth the time for anyone that's been trading for a while and has already found their trading style, strategy and plan.
It's a good read, he spends most of the time on the psychology of the market and has some good ideas.

Really Cool Book focused on Simple Tehnical Setups written with Trader Mindset. One of the Best books for New/Beginning TraderMr. Tatro guides you through Trade Setups & Mindset behind it ( Which is Very Importatnt). Lot of Useful information aboutTrading Discipline ( Keeping Trade Journals, Preparation, Trade Management). Minimilistic approach coupled with lucid language.This book is very unique in a way it approaches focusing on Trading from Traders Mindset instead of just spitting out complex Technical Setupswith complex Patterns like many of the Trading book around.
The title is Trade the Trader. But the book talks almost nothing about what the competition is. It covers various aspects of trading, in a very superficial way. It has a few interesting concepts, like "emotional capital", "from failed moves come fast moves". It lacks depth.
Excellent guide/tutorial
One of the great books on trading. Covers the basics , then goes one step ahead of the crowd.
