Simple but very cute book! Awesome for our 3 y.o. who is beginning to read.

Let me preface my review by stating that if you have not realized it, not all "Level 1 Easy Readers" are created equal. Some are way TOO hard in my opinion (too many multisyllable words) to be classified as a Level 1 Easy reader. My kindergarten son can read this! So I loved it!

This story is really cute. It's perfect for my beginning readers, and it's on a subject that they really like. The pictures are engaging and colorful. EXCELLENT as far as that goes. My problem is with the binding. Just opening the book, the pages start to fall out. It's barely glued in, and even turning the page makes most of the page come right out.I don't know how I'm supposed to read this thing to my kids, let alone let them try to read it on their own like that.

Excellent book for the young reader. Plenty of sight words and decodable words.

Our 4 year old reads this book every chance she can, her favorite book. Only 2 or 3 words per page, perfect for a youngster who is just starting to read. .

Really great beginner book. It's a cute story and an easy read . It's good to have to boost my first graders (6 years old) confidence. My son enjoys the illustrations as well. I would absolutely recommend this to new readers - kindergarten and first graders.

This book is a family favorite! My son who is now 8 has always been fascinated with bugs so I bought this when he was 3 or 4 and it was the first book he ever learned to read. It has very cute illustrations with simple sentences for beginning readers. Our original copy got so worn out that we were losing pages so I had to buy a new one!

Very simple book that repeats the sight words, but one that my grandson loved because he could read it to me! When a child beams from his accomplishment of reading....well, it earns a 5 star rating, especially when every time he has visited in the last month, it is selected to read to me and anyone who will listen.

Easy level E my kids enjoy. It’s not always the favorite, but they still enjoy it
